We don't have a tariff of fees and will consider every appraisal under its own merit; we will always provide a competitive fee proposal and stick to it - most appraisals are completed within 5 to 7 working days from receipt of an instruction to proceed and you know our fee in advance so your accounts team gets no surprises.
As a guide - subject obviously to seeing actual details of a proposed development - a pair of detached houses would command a fee of circa £350, whilst a small estate development of say 6 detached houses would be circa £750, and a scheme of say 14 dwellings would be circa £1,050. Essentially, the more units then the cost per unit comes down.
We can assist with larger developments but tend to find that schemes over 50 units tend to be undertaken by firms who have their own dedicated team of surveyors on the payroll.
We will undertake the analysis of all individual house types and their build costs; calculate costs for plot development, externals and abnormals; make realistic allowances for design and professional fees, site management, and selling fees; prepare a realistic development programme and cashflow forecast; and provide an industry standard project viability summary.
